Embrace AI to Enhance Your God-Given Leadership Potential
As leaders striving to fulfill our God-given potential, integrating AI into our leadership practices can be a powerful tool. Here’s how AI can help us lead more effectively and faithfully:
1. **Data-Driven Decision Making:** Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord and lean not on our own understanding. AI analyzes vast amounts of data, offering insights that help us make informed decisions grounded in empirical evidence, aligning our actions with wisdom and discernment.
2. **Enhanced Productivity:** By automating routine tasks, AI frees up our time, allowing us to focus on strategic thinking and creative problem-solving. This enables us to steward our time wisely, as Ephesians 5:15-16 encourages us to do.
3. **Improved Talent Development:** AI can identify individual strengths and areas for improvement within our teams. This allows us to tailor development programs and mentoring, helping each team member grow in their unique gifts, as described in Romans 12:6-8.
4. **Fostering Innovation:** Leveraging AI encourages us to explore new ideas and approaches, fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptation. As Philippians 4:8 urges us, we can focus on whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable.
5. **Emotional Intelligence Complement:** While AI excels at analytical tasks, it highlights the importance of human qualities like empathy and compassion in leadership. This balance reflects the fruits of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23.
6. **Radical Reframing:** AI helps us challenge long-held beliefs and prejudices about our organizations, enabling us to ask broader questions and find novel solutions. This aligns with Romans 12:2, encouraging us to renew our minds and transform our approach.
7. **Creating Space for Reflection:** By filtering signal from noise, AI provides us with more time and mental space to think deeply about strategic issues. This reflection is essential for discerning God’s will in our leadership, as suggested in Psalm 46:10.
To leverage AI effectively, we must remain curious about advancements, foster collaboration between us and AI, critically evaluate AI outputs, and cultivate creativity in applying AI solutions. Embracing AI while being in the driver's seat can bring glory to God and advance His Kingdom.

Key AI Trends Shaping the Future for Businesses and Ministries in the coming 12-24 Months
Were in the Wild West and the world of artificial intelligence is evolving rapidly, bringing transformative changes across various sectors. Here are three significant AI trends that I'm watching to over the next 24 months that could further disrupt and revolutionize how businesses and ministries operate:
**1. Multimodal AI:**
AI is breaking new ground by processing multiple types of data inputs simultaneously—text, images, and videos. This advancement allows for richer and more comprehensive analysis and applications. Imagine the potential for more sophisticated customer interactions, enhanced data analysis, and dynamic content creation. Multimodal AI is set to be a game-changer in delivering holistic solutions.
**2. Custom Local Models:**
We're moving away from one-size-fits-all AI models to more tailored solutions. Organizations are increasingly developing their own AI models customized to meet specific needs. This shift allows for greater alignment with unique organizational requirements and better data privacy management. For businesses and ministries, this means creating AI-driven initiatives that resonate more deeply with their missions and values.
**3. Advanced Virtual Agents:**
AI-powered virtual agents are becoming more sophisticated, capable of managing complex interactions. These virtual agents can significantly enhance customer service, support, and engagement strategies, driving efficiency and improving user experiences. Imagine virtual agents that not only answer questions but also understand and anticipate needs, providing a more personalized touch.
These trends point to a future where AI solutions are more specialized, integrated, and tailored to meet specific needs across various sectors. Embracing these advancements can help organizations thrive, achieve their missions, and better serve their communities.

"But whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God, the Creator of all light, and he shines forever without change or shadow." ~ James 1:17
The health journey I've been on since March 7, 2020 illuminated God's abundant major blessings in my life ... His salvation and incremental sanctification in my life ... a wife I adore ... kids and grandkids who I love and am proud of ... loving extended family ... real online and offline friends... deeply purposeful work with students who I love for the greatest cause I know ... The list goes on ...
There are times when I take the smaller blessings for granted ... like the environment I get to work in. I am GREATLY affected by my surroundings. I can be flexible and happy in any space, but there is something about a peaceful aesthetic in a room that helps me feel more buoyant.
This morning - I walked into my office and started my diffuser of lemon oil and drank my Plexus Hydrate (thanks to my awesome wife Jody Pfister Scott), I started up my fountain, and settled into my reading chair for Bible and prayer time while the sun was rising.
The serenity and peace were almost overwhelming. In that moment, I was reminded of not only the big blessings in my life, but of all the little things that I too often take for granted. It felt like a big ole God hug! Some may like city offices or home offices or they like a more formal feel to their office. But, God provided an office that is perfectly suited to me and I can honestly say, it has made my journey a little easier.
Are there things like that in your life ... things that others may feel are small or may not appreciate, but they meet a need or desire based on God's unique wiring of you?
I love and appreciate you!
Happy Tuesday! ~ Thom
UPDATE for those who have been wondering but haven't messaged ... My next round of testing is on April 5, so I'll have a better view of what's happening health-wise a week or so after that!
