f living the simple life, ie, walking, eating, and sleeping ~ you can't go wrong with this non-multi-tasking lifestyle! But, the people of this country are the real magnets, the real healers, and the real role models for genuinely welcoming outsiders with open hearts and minds. Each trek reinforces the old adage on Nepal, "you go for the mountains and return for the people." And, I might add, not just the people, but the culture, the color, the religion . . . The goal of Skychasers is to transition from bottling all of the above for myself, to sharing it with you as well. Don't worry, every tour will have plenty of mountains - that's a given - but there's so much more out there. For instance, this fall we'll be dinner guests in a friend's home in Kathmandu, on top of a hill, with Himalayan views, at sunset. It's this kind of insider experience that will make you feel like you're leaving home when you leave Nepal.
