✔ Dock at idle speed and never force a difficult approach.

Staying alert and addressing hazards quickly can help keep your marina safe throughout the season.

As we move into the second half of 2026, it’s a good time for leaders to take stock of safety performance.

Ask yourself:
• Are expectations around procedures clear and consistently met?
• Is there a culture of reporting and learning from near misses?
• Are training and compliance metrics where they should be?
