One Simple Day with Sadie
It didn't take much:
A breath was taken;
there were parents who loved;
milk nourished and warmth snuggled. The cord of life was cut, and a new one began. This page is all about that day, coming full circle back to the belly, the beginning. Returning home, wherever home might be for you. Simply and Sincerely,
Sadie
Come Winter:
Winter. A time of settling down. A time of rest. The work has been completed, the final instruction given, rest initiated.
After the harvest comes silence. And sweet, soft gratitude:
"Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heav'nly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost."
Come Winter, we've become wise elders, Eternal Christians, One, with one another (the hope is).
"As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us. And us in them," Jesus whispers in his Farewell Prayer (John 17:21).
