To all the women on our team (from the field crews to the admin leadership team) we see you, we appreciate you, and this week is about recognizing the impact you have every day in our field.
According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, about 1 in 7 new construction jobs in recent years have been filled by women, bringing their overall share of the workforce to just over 14%. That shows progress, and it shows there’s still room to grow.
If you or someone you know is exploring a construction career, the Women in the Trades Scholarship offers support for women pursuing education and training in the field.
