Lancaster County First Steps

irst Steps helps families and childcare providers give young children the best possible start. We are the only dedicated and comprehensive early childhood nonprofit in Lancaster County focused solely on getting children from birth to age 5 ready for school and life success. We serve nearly 2,200 children across the county each year, providing programs and services that improve children's health, strengthen families, expand access to quality childcare, support literacy, increase participation in 4K programs, and help rising kindergartners transition into school.
