The past few days have been very unsettling for our partners in Nazareth. The war of the US and Israel against Iran has ratcheted up fears that expanded hostilities will impact northern Israel. Recently, the Iran-backed Hezbollah militia in southern Lebanon fired missiles into northern Israel and the Israel Defense Forces responded with attacks on Hezbollah locations.

Please join us and our friends and colleagues in Nazareth in praying for a cessation of hostilities and a sustainable and just peace for the region.

Recently, a group from NPI journeyed to Nazareth to meet with leadership, several physicians, and staff at Nazareth Hospital. To date, NPI has sent more than $80,000 to Nazareth Hospital for training doctors from the West Bank in advanced specializations to meet the needs of residents of the West Bank.

By the end of this month, we will send an additional $60,000 towards this project. We thank all of our friends and partners for their generosity in meeting this need.

Dr. Sulemain, currently specializing in Cardiology, shared how much he values the program: "I really enjoy the program...I don’t need to go to another university after I finish the internal medicine program in order to do a cardiology specialization."
