Today, we had the privilege of celebrating an exciting milestone for USC Lancaster alongside Lauren Thomas and many incredible campus and community partners — the continued growth and impact of USCL’s Health Coach Training Pathway.

This nationally recognized pathway is helping prepare future health professionals with the skills needed to support healthier communities through evidence-based coaching, lifestyle change strategies, and wellness education. As the first nationally recognized academic-credit training program of its kind in South Carolina, continues creating opportunities that strengthen both community health and workforce development.

A special thank you to Professor Thomas — Director of the Health Coach Training Pathway and Instructor of Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior (HPEB) — and everyone who helped make today possible. The future of health and wellness education at is bright! 🩺💙
