Halley the Harper

I didn’t realize how much joy this song would bring me to practice until I was in the thick of it.

Musicians sometimes have some interesting unconscious facial expressions they make when they are “in the zone.” I don’t see recordings of me often, so last week’s adventure was a little eye opening. I do not have a poker face! 😂

My fingers have built the muscle memory so reading the sheet music was mostly to keep some semblance of correct timing. The buzz of my body knowing the song brought so much joy!
