Our public policy team recently spent a day in Harrisburg as part of the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind's (PAB) policy day. We visited legislative offices to educate legislators and staff about VisionCorps and our rehab services for people who are blind or vision impaired.

We visited House and Senate legislative offices to advocate for the $4 million+ funding to continue for PAB so that VisionCorps will receive some state funding to help provide for its vision rehabilitation services.

Yesterday, our team came together wearing purple in support of Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month. By “going purple,” we joined millions across the country in raising awareness, honoring those affected, and showing our commitment to brain health.

Every piece of purple represents hope—for continued research, stronger support systems, and a future without Alzheimer’s. We’re proud of our staff for standing united and helping spark important conversations in our community. 💜
