When we’re on a scout, we’re not just looking for a quiet place for sound, we’re asking if the space actually reflects the story we’re trying to tell.

From there, we begin to visualize how the interview or scene will come together. This helps us work through logistics ahead of time and go into the shoot day with a clear plan.

It’s easy to rush into filming, but the clarity that comes from this stage changes everything.

What we capture, who we include, and how the story ultimately feels all starts here.

Last week, we had the chance to film Carlos Whittaker as part of our ongoing partnership with .

He toured the facility with the owner, getting a firsthand look at how everything is made and the heart behind it.

As someone who had already seen the impact this food has had on his own dogs, this experience gave him a deeper understanding of the care and intention behind the process.
