Lancaster County Democratic State Committee

Today our members of State Committee gathered for the PA Democratic Party’s Winter State Committee Meeting and endorsement convention just outside Harrisburg—and though it was freezing, it was an energizing day! We heard from Rep. Madeleine Dean about the urgency of supporting candidates this year as we work to flip the House of Representatives. We were also moved by a powerful poem from Southeast Caucus Treasurer Sharon Booker in honor of Black History Month.

We unanimously passed a resolution condemning the weaponization of ICE, and we proudly voted to endorse Josh Shapiro and Austin Davis for governor and lieutenant governor.

We’re fired up and looking ahead to this election season! The Lancaster County Democratic Committee will hold its endorsement convention later this month, and we’re ready to get to work! Governor Shapiro made it clear: he wants to see Lancaster turn blue!💪🗳️💙
