Controller's Office Employee Receives Star Award!

2025 Prison Board members.

When I was first elected, we promised to make public safety priority #1. We have. Lancaster County is one the safest counties in PA to live, work, and raise a family. Now we are continuing the job by planning for a new County Correctional Facility that will replace our outdated 1850s era prison. This new facility will better allow our great correctional staff to reduce recidivism and protect Lancaster County citizens for generations to come. We want our children and grandchildren to grow up in the same safe community we have had the good fortune to live in.

Our thoughts are with the family of Ron Ford, former County Commissioner, City Council President, and all around great person with a passion for improving everything around him. I see him almost every day in the halls of the government center. I took the quote below from his obituary write up. We should all strive to have this said about us.
