My grandson Myles turns five on St. Patrick’s Day this week… and he already understands five leadership lessons many of us adults forget.

☘️ Be curious – Never stop learning.
☘️ Be present – Give people your full attention.
☘️ Celebrate others – Encouragement builds strong teams.
☘️ Try again – Resilience is a leadership superpower.
☘️ Show people you care – Relationships matter most.

Watching Myles grow reminds me the greatest blessings in life aren’t luck.

They’re faith, family, and values passed forward.

Being a Happy Pappy Lappy to Myles , Grayson, and our first Grandaughter due date in July, 2026 may be the greatest leadership lesson of all.

The week after Valentine’s Day… and love is still in the air. ❤️
Here in Buenos Aires — where tango isn’t just a dance, it’s part of the city’s soul — I’m reminded why growth happens outside comfort.

Back in 2010, I took on something that stretched me in a big way:
I danced the Argentinian Tango at the Dance 4 Dreams fundraiser benefiting the Lancaster General School of Nursing (now Saint Joseph’s University Lancaster). I love to dance — especially on a wedding floor — but this performance was something different.

Working with my professional ballroom coach, Becca Gentry, wasn’t about perfection — it was about showing up. And that performance taught me two timeless truths:

👉 Be coachable.
👉 Be comfortable doing the uncomfortable.

Because growth doesn’t happen in the safe zone — it happens when you say YES before you feel ready.

So wherever you are this Monday…
Be coachable.
Embrace the unfamiliar.
Choose growth.
