Greg Braun, the man behind the moniker, spent most of his music career laying the rhythm foundation & energy for numerous bands, playing his first live show in a local bar at the age of 12. As an established drummer, he lived his rockstar dream of sharing the stage with a variety of national acts, most notably completing two National Arena tours as a member of the opening act for Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning artist, Shakira in the early 2000s. After a break to focus on his personal life, the husband & father once again finds himself sharing his music as a one-man band. G 5000 is currently writing, recording & producing his own music offering the opportunity to connect his vast creativity & love of music with his enthusiasm for a positive, fulfilling life. His first 3 singles, mastered by Grammy Award-winning audio engineer, Bob Katz, are currently available on all streaming platforms.
