There have been some new opportunities, new connections, and things in the works that remind me of why I started helloCreate in the first place. At the same time, this season has also come with challenges. Social media is always changing, and with budgets getting tighter, I have felt the impact. I’ve lost clients and have had to pivot, and I’ve had days where I questioned what I was even doing. 🤔

But, this is the reality of owning a business. No matter how big or small it is, there are always going to be highs and lows. The wins feel really good, and the hard seasons can feel really crappy.

When I start to feel discouraged, I try to zoom out and look at how far I’ve come in the last 5 years. This business started as an idea, and somehow it turned into something real, and that doesn’t just disappear because of a tough season.

A client sent me this text a couple of weeks ago.

While it absolutely made my afternoon, it also reminded me of something bigger - that we all need to hear words like this once in a while.

Not because we’re fishing for praise, but because running a business, meeting deadlines, raising kids, and taking care of ourselves can feel like a lot.

I’ve been hearing this question from business owners lately: “Is it okay to keep posting right now?”

The answer isn’t silence or sales mode, it’s intention.

You can acknowledge what’s happening in the world and continue showing up in a way that feels respectful and human.

👉A quick photo of what you’re working on today
👉A reminder of what service you offer
👉A client/customer win or kind message
👉A simple “We’re here and booking” post

That’s it! No bells, no whistles…just proof that your business is alive and well.
