Perl Sausage, (a sausage manufacturing company) was based in Chicago. My seven brothers and I were all put to work in the business. Upon graduating from college, getting married, starting a family, my next goal was to start my own business. Growing up in the sausage industry… it seemed like a natural. Thus, at age 25, was the start of Deli Direct! It was rough going at the beginning but with determination, a deep desire and lots of work…. we made it!
