Project Pooch
Project POOCH has successfully paired hundreds of youth incarcerated at MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility in Woodburn, Oregon, with homeless shelter dogs since 1993. Youths (guided by professionals) learn to train the dogs, groom them, and find them new adoptive forever homes. The dogs leave the program ready to be great pets, while their trainers re-enter the community with new job and persona

Austin is looking to strut his way into a home of his own! At about one year old, and 40 lbs, he is an excellent size and energy level to join your family. He is dog social and takes cues from his confident dog friends while exploring the world. (Fellow POOCH dog Georgia taught him the pools can be a BLAST).
