Thank you Babies and Bumps for the amazing time today! We had a blast teaching others about mental health in pregnancy and postpartum.

Yesterday was an amazing day!

While I was in Washington DC meeting with Senator Slotkin’s office urging her attention to the affordability crisis Michiganders are experiencing accessing care for infertility treatment, our stateside advocates Stephanie Chang Samantha Steckloff and Stephanie Jones Michigan Fertility Alliance were introducing legislation, Senate Bill 922 which aims to require private health insurance cover fertility treatment, including IVF.

One step forward! I could not be more proud of our stateside representatives and advocates.

For all the families l have the privilege to serve, those struggling with despair, grief, anxiety and financial distress while holding onto the hope of one day having the family they dream of, we hear you and we are elevating your voices!
