Last Thursday Maizie stopped by to receive her CancerBank Scholarship. She is graduating from Oviedo Hogh School with a 3.94 GPA. She will be attending Ohio Dominican University to study Sports Science, play basketball, and pursue a profession in sports media.

In 2019, her mom was diagnosed with Lymphoma and Maizie, bring the oldest child stepped up to her with siblings and general household tasks. Even through it all, she continued to take honors and AP courses while maintaining her spot on the girls basketball team, National Honor Society, and volunteering as an assistant Middle School basketball coach.

Maizie has the drive to accomplish anything she puts her mind to and CancerBank is excited to support her and her family through a $2500 CancerBank Scholarship.
