BC Math Center earns prestigious certifications for tutoring services

Brazosport College is pleased to announce that its Math Center was recently awarded certification as a Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 tutor training program by the internationally recognized College Reading & Learning Association.
This achievement acknowledges the BC Math Center as a leader in providing exceptional tutoring services and demonstrates its commitment to encouraging academic growth and excellence.

The Math Center is a division of the college’s Student Success Center, which provides academic support for students through professional tutoring, mentoring, supplemental instruction and other student services.

"This achievement is a testament to the dedication and relentless pursuit of growth by our tutors,” said Math Center Tutor Coordinator, Rebecca Goins.

“Their hard work has been the cornerstone of our success. I also want to extend special thanks to one of my senior tutors, Kourtney Blandford, for partnering with me and spearheading our efforts. She helped turn our collective vision into reality over the past two years."
