January 8, 2024 - We Made It
So much has happened in the past six months! What A whirl wind! The good news is that Mike and I are still upright and smiling. We're almost settled in and are able to sit back on the porch and watch the view. Bullhead is in a big bowl, meaning that we are surrounded by lots of amazing mountains. The desert is quite different than where we've been for the past 50 years in balmy So Cal - but has a peaceful, calming effect that is wonderful.
My computer died somewhere along the way thus I've not been online for quite a while. Sorta theraputic.
So, life here is calmer and a lot less chaotic. It reminds me of Texas tempo (for those who don't know, Mike and I were both born and raised in Texas; we migrated to California when Mike joined the Marines.) It is also great that our daughter is five minutes away rather than 500 miles away.
We are looking forward to exploring the wonderful mountains and desert setting Arizona has to share. Sign off for now. We miss our dear friends and hope all are safe and well. Pat

We're making 99% of our Christmas gifts this year. Our family voted to make this holiday less costly and stressful thus we decided to do crafty stuff instead of shopping for stuff in the malls. It's been really fun so far. Roses from my garden.
