In case you missed it, yesterday the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Economic and Consumer Policy Committee on Oversight and Reform released a report on the high levels of toxic metals in both organic and nonorganic baby food produced by multiple manufacturers. The report, linked below, references the neurotoxic effects that even low levels of exposure can have on infant brain development. This report is disheartening, but not surprising.
