Elvira 2 year old Moon Goddess ..lover of all people .. Mistress of the Litter-box .. has been with us for a few months .. retiring from the community cat life as she gained social skills .. she tolerates most cats but does not seem to desire to interact or bond with them .. minds her own business .. felines don’t trespass into this ten inch radius .. or catch paws .. respectfully ..

UNTIL …

Good old Monroe .. three month old ginger boy found alone starving .. brought in from a rural Ga shelter .. survival skills of a potato … one brain cell that he shares with the ginger cat coalition .. and another sector has the brain cell in use today ..

He decided … Elvira will love me ..
She decided .. Floof you.. You floof’in floofer …

Monroe .. undeterred … persistent.. or .. head very , very hollow .. bee lines straight for her every time he gets out of the cubby .. every .. single .. time …

Elvira will love me ..

For some reason he chose her..

Every skipity pap .. he kept coming back until … something magical ..

She groomed him .. licked his ear ..

He became the sunshine to her moon.

She’s teaching him skills and he’s showing her that she’s accepted as she is .. because he likes skipity paps 🤷🏼‍♀️

And now it looks like I have a strangely bonded pair that I will have to place accordingly ….
