Java Roaster

Okay.... ok.
Yesterday is was “holiday”therefore I could not say goodbye to all my local regulars that work jobs that recognize said “holiday.” We just can’t end it all like that! Now yes... I know if I follow this logic we would never leave.

And I’m sure that there are many of you out there that say “no problem, stay forever!” All good chapters turn there final page and must come to an end. But before I go, one more breakfast, second breakfast, and maybe a pre lunch snack???

Open 8am-Noon with limited menu until the last latte is made and cup of coffee is poured.😉❤️ Oh, and don’t forget we have knickknacks and coffee beans up for grabs!

Also enormous shoutout to all the messages and phone calls and support we received from all of you over the last 24hrs. The community is strong and you’re all the reason I love what I do so very deeply. Truly blessed to be surrounded by such wonder people. Thanks for helping getting us through. I’ve (being me, Sarah, your neighborhood barista and owner of this charming little cutout) have always tried to stay honest and open with all of our customers. You or a friend, or even a coworker may tried to come by recently and have seen the light off and truly I wish I could have been there to greet you instead. Or maybe you heard of have said “oh did you hear?” And yes, it’s true. The building is for sale and we will be closing Java Roaster. This has been a very difficult decision. After all the people I’ve met and coffee I’ve made, the memories are richer than any cup I’ve ever poured. The timeline right now is a little messy due to covid being yet again a thorn in our sides. Yes, it’s also true. I have test positive for covid and I am writing to you from my quarantine cave. The best I can offer you is this... You, our customers, have supported and loved us from day one. Through a global pandemic and beyond. You matter to us and I will keep you updated as best as possible from now until our final bow. Plus... you know any new adventure that is embarked upon! 🌝
