I bought this guitar on credit when I was 19. My first electric guitar. (Before that I had been mooching Tele for years) Added the custom (improvised? jury-rigged?) hand-rest at Dale’s behest in the garage w . When I bought a “nicer” archtop, Dale told me to never get rid of this guitar, even though it was an inexpensive, entry level instrument. As always, he was right. It’s been my go-to the last month or so. An old friend. Now, I’m a little closer to sounding the way I imagined when I bought it, for better or for worse. Solo @ C-West tomorrow with my old friend.
