Medications should be taken in addition to lifestyle changes, not instead of them.
“It’s Genetic” does not mean it has to happen to you. Your DNA is not your destiny. Your genes determine your predisposition to disease and sickness, but your choices turn them on or off. Genetics load the gun, your choices (diet/lifestyle) pull the trigger. What choices are you making to prevent the trigger from pulling?
We’ve had countless clients take ownership over their health and make the appropriate changes to successfully reduce their dosage, remove associated prescriptions, and even wean off of their medications.
No matter your position on prescriptions, pro, anti, or somewhere in the middle—a healthy lifestyle has proven to impact the effectiveness of the medication and your overall health and quality of life. Even if your goal is not to wean off of your medications, at least let it be to influence the tolerability of the medication and your health as a whole.
Food is a form of medicine and is the most important thing you can control when it comes to your health. You determine what you put in your mouth and what you don’t. Eat more foods consistently that fight inflammation, build a strong immune system, have healing properties, and aid in blood sugar and hormone balance.

Sign Up's are OFFICIALLY open for our upcoming Summer Fat Loss Accountability Group 👙😎
☀️Goal: Fat Loss
☀️Timeline: 6 Weeks
☀️Investment: As low as $250
☀️Our Why: We frequently hear women say that the summer season brings about weight gain, setbacks, and a generalized struggle to stay tethered to their goals. There are many variables that can lead to this, but some of the most common we hear are:
➡️Difficulty establishing a routine
➡️Time management with kids' home
➡️Travel
➡️More opportunities for barbecues, dining out, & social events
➡️ Not wanting to miss out, but struggling to find balance
➡️More alcohol consumption
Can you relate?! If so, you’re clearly not alone and we want to remind you that you do not have to leave the summer with weight gained, and you also do not have to be restrictive and deprive yourself all summer. There is a well-balanced approach that includes being both healthy and happy, and we want to journey with you in finding it!
We decided to launch this group to teach you how to lose weight and keep it off in a way that is sustainable for you and meets the needs of your preferences and lifestyle, no matter the season! Sign ups are open TODAY, so grab your spot before the group is full!
Coach Rebekah is so excited to get started with you! And as always, reach out with any questions 🫶

It's a strong possibility! Insulin resistance (IR) is a condition in which cells in the body become resistant to the effects of insulin, a hormone that helps regulate blood sugar levels. This means that more insulin is needed to achieve the same effect, which leads to high levels of insulin in the blood because your body has difficulty using glucose for energy. Over time, this can increase the risk of developing diabetes and other health problems.
Possible causes: POOR DIET, genetics, obesity, lack of exercise, poor sleep, hormonal imbalances, medications, and aging.
Women are more likely than men to develop IR due to a number of factors and with a diagnosis of PCOS, you are at an even higher risk.
Symptoms include weight gain, especially around the waistline, increased hunger & cravings for carbs, fatigue, and a feeling of being constantly bloated. It's also closely linked to infertility.
Managing IR involves making lifestyle changes, managing stress, exercising regularly, and eating a healthy diet that is low in sugar and processed foods which will help you maintain a healthy weight. Basically, everything can be solved with diet and exercise, y'all!
If you're curious if this could be affecting you, IR can be tested through several methods with your practitioner. Most practitioners however do fail to mention that this diagnosis IS reversible! It's not something you just have to accept! I've experienced this in my own journey. I was diagnosed with PCOS and Hypothyroidism in 2013 when I was no longer having cycles and struggling to get pregnant. I was put on Metformin and Thyroid medication by my MD to manage it but without an exit strategy. Basically, I was just told I needed medication to manage, but I didn't really like that answer. With nutritional help, adjusting my approach to exercise, and a lot of accountability, I was able to get off of the prescriptions and reverse my diagnosis!
It's important to note that this is a gradual process and requires ongoing intention, but YOU CAN DO IT! And we can work closely with you to help!
Have you been affected by Insulin Resistance, too?
