What Karen won’t say because she’s super humble is that she looks and performs like a badass. She does things in the gym that most moms haven’t done since high school or ever. 🤯

And how did she do it?

Consistency.

Not all gas no brakes.

80% throttle for 3 + YEARS.

Anyone that has a quick fix is selling you snake oil.

Now, do most people feel better within the first week of working with us, yes.

That doesn’t mean their goals are reached.

It just means I’m good at helping my athletes build positive momentum early so they’re inherently motivated to keep taking care of themselves.

Karen, in her 60, grandmother, wood worker, is living a better life than she did at 50 and 40.

Because she has her health and her body working for her. Not against her.

This photo messes with people because it makes the cost visible.

For every 1 lb lost…you take about 4 lbs of pressure OFF your knees.

So if you’re 20 lbs up, that’s roughly 80 lbs of extra pressure your knees are dealing with.

Every step.
Every stair.
Every squat.

Every time you get off the couch to go play with your kids.

And I’m not saying that to shame you.
I’m saying it because I used to be that kid.

I was heavy growing up.
My knees hurt.

I thought that was just “my body.”
Like I was built wrong.

Then I started training consistently.

Not perfectly.
Consistently.
Strength work.
Walking.
Dropping a little weight.
Building the muscles around the joint.

And the knee pain didn’t just get better…
it disappeared.

Not because I found a magic stretch.

Because I stopped making my joints do the work my muscles were supposed to do.

Same with Jerry.

Jerry used to wake up with back pain so stiff he’d move like a rusty gate.

Now?

He gets up with like two grunts and gets right into the workout.

Not because he’s tough.

Because he got lighter, stronger, and more consistent.

And now he can actually keep up with his grandkids instead of watching from a chair.

That’s the real win.

Not “shredded.”
Not “summer body.”

Freedom.

Hot take after coaching over 10,000 sessions:

Working out with others beats working out alone for 99% of people.

Not because we’re weak.

Not because we “don’t want it bad enough.”

Because real life is loud.
Kids.
Work.
Stress.
Weather.

Motivation that shows up once a month.

Most people are never going to jump out of bed excited to go lift.

And that’s normal.

What changes everything is this:

You like the people just enough to show up anyway.

You know someone’s expecting you.
You know you’ll laugh for 30 seconds.
You know you’ll leave feeling better than when you walked in.

That’s the secret.

Not a perfect program.
A place you belong.

And this picture is exactly what I mean:
Saturday morning. Sweaty. Smiling. Stronger than we were an hour ago.
