You were a leader in every sense — dedicated to your school, your faith, your community, and the people you loved most. From baseball and band to student leadership and 4-H, you inspired others through your kindness, determination, and genuine love for life.

Known lovingly as “Big Lay” and “Big Daddy Brooks,” you made everyone feel valued and loved. Your faith and unforgettable spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew you.
