American Cancer Society Relay Events | Relay For Life Relay For Life events are life-changing cancer fundraising events that help communities across the globe fight back against cancer.
According to the United Health Foundation, in 2012 Louisiana ranked in the bottom five in 17 of the 26 core measures of public health,resulting in an overal ranking of 49th.These core measures include infant mortality, cancer deaths, low birthweight,premature deaths, smoking, obesity, infectious disease, children in poverty, cardiovascular deaths, diabetes, and preventable hospitalizations. This is not prosperity! Change starts in the community!
