Join us on Sunday, October 19th as we celebrate 100 years in our Sanctuary and 200 years as a Congregation. This special event is a momentous occasion for our community and we invite you to be a part of it.
Here is the schedule for this very special Sunday!

10:00 AM Gathering (complete with snacks!)
Come early, grab a nametag and a cup of coffee or treat, and enjoy visiting with current and previous members and pastors.

10:30 AM Worship Begins
We’re starting early this week – but it’s going to be worth it!
There will be a brief video history of the church, amazing music, and preaching by Rev. Dr. Weldon Bares, senior pastor at FUMC, Lake Charles. Rev. Bares has a long history with our congregation, having been raised in this church and serving as youth director in the 80’s. Plus, he is an exceptional preacher and you will be blessed and challenged by his message. And then there’s lunch.

Join us on the front steps of the church for Community Canvas, a vibrant and family-friendly event bringing our community together through live music and interactive art experiences for all ages! Come and create! And also enjoy a thought-provoking installation inspired by Scott Erickson’s Stations of Resurrection.

Blessing of the Bacpacks and 2nd Sunday Soiree were held today. We pray that all the kids, parents and teachers have great school year.
