Lafayette Community String Orchestra

middle school students to retired musicians. Some have been playing for over fifty years and some for less than one year. Members come from all walks of life. Over the years, the LCSO has performed at numerous nursing/retirement homes, the HoliDome, Girard Park Recreation Center, Oil Center Christmas Light Festival, KATC TV’s "Good Morning Acadiana" Show, Foley’s Department Store, Barnes & Noble, First United Methodist Church of Crowley, First Baptist Church of Lafayette Chapel, the Lafayette Public Library, Notre Dame Catholic Church of St. Martinville, and the Essanee Theater of New Iberia. Current members are from Lafayette, Carencro, Cecilia, Breaux Bridge, Duson, Crowley, Iowa, New Iberia, Natchitoches, and Washington (LA). LCSO's General Manager is Tommy Benoit. LCSO's Conductor is Renee Langley Nunez.
