Deluxe Nails

Beyond being a skilled nail technician and a business owner, you have to always present your professional A-Game to the world. We’re in customer service; so it’s mostly a “be ready for anything” business. In our line of work, drama finds you, so this post is to spread awareness.

Today, while Kenny managed the salon, around 2 o’clock, a client intentionally drove off without paying. She informed him her credit card was in the car and being trusting, he said, “sure, I’ll wait while you go get it.” Well, he saw her reverse immediately and drove away in a dark blue/green car. He felt terrible the entire day; mostly disappointed in himself for falling for the oldest trick in the nail industry. He kept saying, “she’ll be back before closing because she may have left her card at home.” Anyway, the incident is over, tomorrow is a new day.

I hope she sees this and reflects on her action. Here are my thoughts, not that anyone ask. Thanks to too many episodes of Criminal Minds, I noted some details.

1. You are too old to pull something like this (age about mid-50 to 60s, with light brown bob cut). Kudos to you for accomplishing it.
2. I hope you enjoy your nails with the heart designs (see image).
3. We do remember your face bc you have a scar or a permanent injury on the left side of your nose.
4. You have a Bronco keychain.
5. You owe Kenny a thank you card because he had to pay the techs for your pedicure and nails.
6. Next time, wear a mask. No one would be suspicious due to Covid.
7. What a way to welcome the new year.
