Congratulations to our 2025 National Life Group Do Good Hero Grand Prize Winners: Deputy Fire Marshal Gary Weiland and Sergeant George Bandurchin!

Deputy Weiland works for the City of Denton Fire Department and has won $5,000 to donate to 50 Legs and Denton Fire Traditions. He was nominated by Lauren Coffey of Our Infinite Company for demonstrating that it's possible to overcome anything you put your mind to, and for sharing that message in his community.

Sgt. Bandurchin works for the Baltimore County Police Department and has won $5,000 to donate to the Parkville Police Community Relations Council (PCRC) for Precinct 8. He was nominated by Ryan Behnken of Worthington Financial Partners and Avery Cooper Financial for the unwavering commitment he brings to his work, not only as a law enforcement officer, but as a true pillar of the Baltimore County community.
