An Indiana National Guard soldier died early Saturday morning following a hit-and-run.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Sgt. Joseph Nordstrom during this difficult time.

Nordstrom, 30, served in the Indiana National Guard, including a tour in Afghanistan, and recently completed UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter repairer training.

Even after his death, he continued to selflessly serve his community and country by being an organ donor. He will save several lives with his donations.

A funeral service with full military honors will be held Saturday, March 3 in his honor.

Finished MY harp table today, that I have worked so hard to salvage and recover.

Only had a 1/2 day of work at my day job, so I got a good jump on my next 2 pieces in the shop.

The dresser made it to it's home. Can't wait to see it once the new hardware is added!!
