The Howard County Health Department protects public health through the following programs: Food Safety and Inspections, Rabies Survellience, Onsite Sewage Treatment Inspections, Tattoo Safety and Inspections, Pool Safety and Inspections, Environmental Complaint Investigation, Immunizations, Public Health Education, and Emergency Preparedness. Vital Records preserves birth and death records for the county.
