👋 Hi y’all! I’m Tracy Schindler, owner of Pink Construction LLC, dba 𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙍𝙤𝙤𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙜 & 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣.

We specialize in residential roofing & gutters in The Greater Houston Area.

👩‍🏫 My background is in education. I was a high school geometry teacher for 10 years in the sunny state of Florida. ☀️💝🏝️

In 2016, I returned home to the 🌟Great State of Texas🌟 and stumbled into the roofing industry. I fell in love 😍 with guiding homeowners through the process of the largest home renovation most people make to their properties. 🏡🔨

As a single mom and school teacher, I always worked side hustles to help make ends meet. I provided bookkeeping services🧾, coached cheer 📣 and dance 👯‍♀️ teams along the way, and also sold health and beauty products via social media 📲 .

Although life frequently felt like a struggle financially, it was imperative to me to have the same hours as my son, Logan, during his formative years through elementary school; so it was worth it in the end! 💙

Once my boy started middle school, I entered the roofing industry. I immediately saw how ✨God✨ had used my struggles over the years to sharpen my skills in preparation for this next phase of my life and career.

🧾 Keeping up with QuickBooks throughout my teaching career opened the door for me to ultimately become a bookkeeper for a roofing company. I have my mother, Barbara Parmlee, to thank for teaching me the profession of accounting over the years that allowed me seize the opportunity. 🙏🏼💕✨

💻 All of the hours I spent learning and utilizing Microsoft Office to educate my students helped to catapult the roofing business - by allowing me to create professional documents in Word, to build calculators in Excel, and to design PowerPoints I used to train salesmen. I have my perfectionism to thank for that 😅

☝️ I used to refuse to give my students ugly worksheets - that had been duplicated so many times they were difficult to read 😄. I’d retype them and incorporate students’ names into the word problems to help draw them into the lessons. In doing so, I learned the details and breadth of Word’s capabilities.

💕 And I absolutely LOVED creating animated, color-coded, aesthetically appealing PowerPoints to engage students and to clarify each step, as we navigated complex math problems.

📲 Selling health and beauty products taught me how to market on social media. For this, I have April Young to thank for teaching me the way. 🙏🏼💕✨

🔨 In 2018, I started Pink Construction…and then added the dba “Pink Roofing & Restoration” in 2022 - to highlight roofing as our specialty.

🙏🏼 Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and encourage others to keep the faith in hard times. Something ✨higher✨ is ALWAYS at work!🙌🏼
