Today's playtest went well. The updated rules for fewer than max players worked smoothly, and the efforts to reduce the play time also worked as intended, so it was a good playtest overall! We did notice some edge cases which didn't come up before, but can, so we need to make sure those are covered.

Today's playtest went well. The game's starting quest was modified to have a more "tutorial" feel, and while the changes did make it more direct, its pacing was skewed to being too easy, so players didn't get much of a chance to use the skills they were learning.
The iconography on the cards and phrasing of some abilities was unclear, so that will be revised to try and make things more straightforward.

Today's playtest went smoothly, and confirmed that the rules to scale the game differently depending on the number of players create a balanced and exciting experience. A few tweaks might be needed, but those will be focused on in future playtests.
The game is still taking longer than expected to complete, so we'll be implementing some alternate rules which should allow for a quicker experience if that what the players are expecting.
