This photo was taken in a place that’s seen a lot over time. The cliffs, the water, the stillness, it all felt steady and strong when I was there. I wanted to capture that feeling and bring it into the space. At 7 feet tall and 11 feet long, this one really changes the room.

Seeing it on the wall hits different.

From hillside homes to ocean spray, from fresh markets to quiet roads. Madeira is a feeling as much as a place.

Málaga from the air and from the street.

Two perspectives of the same city, moving at its own pace.

Some places don’t need much explanation, you just have to see them.

Some places change you the moment you see them.
Lanzarote is one of them.

Just leaving Garajonay National Park in La Gomera, and this shot of Roque de Agando still doesn’t feel real. It’s like the entire island is carved around this one giant pillar of time.

What do you guys think, do we add it to The Frederick Collection, or save it for the archives?

Fall has a way of slowing everything down.
The air feels sharper, the light hits softer, and cities begin to glow in those last golden moments before winter takes the stage.

The trees put on one final performance, a dance of color, reminding us that change can be breathtaking when we stop to notice it.

Each leaf tells a story of transition, of letting go, of beauty found in impermanence.

There’s a moment in life when you realize growth isn’t about staying where you’re comfortable, it’s about reaching further than you thought you could.

This piece is called “Branching Out.”
It’s a visual reminder that beauty happens when we lean into change, when we stretch, reach, and trust that something meaningful will meet us there.

Captured in Seattle’s Arboretum, this photo is part of The Frederick Collection, a series that celebrates the spaces between stillness and transformation.

Edge of the Atlantic:

Where the first light of day meets the rugged coast of Maine.
Captured at sunrise, this moment reminds us how beauty often hides in the calm between waves, waiting for those who rise early enough to see it.

There’s something sacred about the first light of day.
As the sun rose over Nubble Lighthouse, the world felt still, just the sound of waves and the warmth of a new beginning.

The Quiet Giant
There’s something deeply moving about silence especially when it comes from something so powerful.

This image means more to me than just a photo. It’s a moment of stillness, of wisdom, of quiet strength. You can almost feel the weight of its journey in every wrinkle, every fold of its skin. No noise, no need to be loud just presence.

Sometimes, the strongest thing in the room is the one that doesn’t need to speak at all.

Grateful I got to share space with this incredible being.
Hope it reminds you to slow down today.
