Through funding from The National Marine Sanctuaries Ocean Explorers Grant in partnership with the NOAA Hawaiian Island Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, Learning Endeavors was able to provide students from Kūlanihāko'i High School the opportunity to visit the Hawaiʻi Wildlife Discovery Center and embark on a whale-watching tour. Students got to learn about various marine life surrounding the Hawaiian Islands and experience whale behaviors in person. We look forward to providing students with more opportunities to learn outside of the classroom.
