When I was alerted that Halloween Kitty (the black and orange community cat that I had encountered on my runs) was limping, I took her to the vet immediately. After an x-ray showed a sprained paw and a PCR test showed a Bordetella infection, she was prescribed anti-inflammatories and antibiotics. Therefore, this little girl had to come party with me in my hotel room for a while! After treatment was done, I thought she was too feral to keep and ended up re-releasing her, but the Other Side had other plans! They guided me to go back outside and bring her back in, which was a blessing because I was emotionally attached to her! Anyway, that’s what I did and now she’s our newest member of the family. Welcome, Teana Pavlina! 😽💕
