Mon Day Night Rides Key West

hange every week! We have mostly 30-40 miles rides but once a month we stay on island at a relaxed pace. Generally speaking, the MonDayNight before Critical Mass (CM is the last Friday of every month) we do a relaxed, shorter ride around the island or over to Stock Island. Trikes, trailers, cruisers, swing bikes, fixies, mountain bikes....all are welcome as we strive for about 10 miles at 8-10mph. This ride is what you make of it! Bring fun lights, snacks to share or participate with yummy food if it's one of our "pop-up pot-lucks"! Please be self-sufficient, self-responsible! The other 3 weeks of the month are faster and longer rides, and they head up the Keys for 25-30 miles to places like Geiger Fish Camp or Fish @mm14.5 for a snack and libation! These are not cruiser rides! You will need an appropriate bicycle, tools and skills. BRIGHT lights needed, no $20 sets, they are not safe for this ride. Please be self-sufficient, self-responsible and expect a 12-15mph pace. Check the current week's ride post/event for more details. And sometimes we ride 60 miles to the true end of Sugerloaf, pass over the jumping bridge and do the loop as well! You'll need phat tires and no fear of riding off road in the dark while dodging poisonwood and spiderwebs for these crazy rides!
