Popular Broward drag show club saved at the 11th hour Lips, a popular drag club in Oakland Park, was set to close its doors until investors from Key West swooped in and kept the lights on.

KEY WEST: This week I will be heading to Key West, FL to support Chris Massicotte who is running for County Commissioner in Monroe County, which is the entire Florida Keys. Chris' event will celebrate Pride and bring awareness for the equality of the LGBTQ+ community. Chris is working towards creating a sustainable future for the Florida Keys by ensuring tax payers' dollars are spent responsibly, that there is a plan for affordable housing and proposing smart infrastructure decisions.

The event will take place on Thursday June 13th from 5-7pm at the famous Aquaplex, known for its unique drag shows, a show stopping cabaret, exciting drinks and a multitude of experiences all under one roof.
