🎳 "Hollywood Lanes" Coming to The Marquee, Asheville 🎨
This 30x40" oil on canvas captures a piece of Los Angeles history—the iconic neon sign of Hollywood Star Lanes on Santa Monica Boulevard, photographed just before it closed forever and was demolished to make way for a school.
This is the legendary bowling alley where The Coen Brothers filmed The Big Lebowski. I was fortunate to capture its glowing crown one last time during my time in Hollywood, preserving this cultural landmark in paint with, of course, lots of texture.
This piece is from my early days as an artist (2003) that I've always kept for nostalgic reasons. Now on display at The Marquee in Asheville—come see where cinema history meets fine art. 🎬✨
