Trash Derby recap 🗑️
Our team took part in this year’s Florida Keys Trash Derby by searching right where we are every day… the lagoon!
Our team spent the day diving and working through the area to remove debris that’s built up below the surface over time. From smaller pieces to heavier items, everything was collected and brought out piece by piece 💪😎
By the end of the cleanup, a total of 1,023 pounds of trash had been removed from the lagoon, including two transaxles totaling 700 pounds 😮

We recently had the Martin County Sheriff's Office Dive Team out at the lagoon, where they used the habitat to run an extraction scenario 😎
