The Ernest Hemingway Home in Key West is more than just a historic landmark — it’s where the legendary author lived and wrote some of his greatest works ✍️📚. Built in the 1850s, this beautiful Spanish Colonial house is filled with history, lush gardens 🌴, and a touch of island charm.

But the real stars? The six-toed cats 🐾🐱. Dozens of them roam the property today, many descended from Hemingway’s own pet cat, Snow White. Each one carries the quirky polydactyl trait that makes them so unique.

Whether you’re a literature lover or just a cat fan, the Hemingway House is a Key West must-see ✨.

The Southernmost Point marker in Key West is one of the most photographed spots in the Florida Keys 📸🌴. Standing boldly at the corner of Whitehead and South streets, the giant buoy was installed in 1983 to replace a small wooden sign that tourists kept stealing 🚧. Painted brightly in red, black, and yellow, it proudly marks “90 Miles to Cuba” 🇨🇺✨.

While it’s currently under restoration 🛠️, the famous buoy is expected to reopen next year, ready to welcome visitors once again. A must-stop on any Key West adventure! 🌊⚓

🏝️ Step back in time at Pigeon Key — a five-acre island tucked beneath the old Seven Mile Bridge!

Once a bustling work camp for Henry Flagler’s Overseas Railroad, housing hundreds of workers building the legendary railway to Key West 🚂⚒️ Today, it’s a living museum where you can explore historic cottages, take the tram tour, snorkel off the pier, and soak up the crystal-clear waters of Marathon 🌊🐠
