Now, both of Key Biscayne’s Crandon beaches have too much p**p for swimming Key Biscayne’s Crandon North Beach was put under a swimming advisory for too much bacteria that indicates f***l matter, which is the same reason Crandon South Beach has been under an advisory since Friday.

WATER QUALITY ALERT: A contractor hit a sewer main at Fifth Street and Michigan Avenue in City of Miami Beach, which caused a sewage leak and very high bacteria levels in the surrounding area. Please avoid contact with the water around the south end of Miami Beach, both on the Bay and beach sides. The City has issued a no swim advisory beach areas in the vicinity of First Street through Fifth Street and for the area of Biscayne Bay from South Pointe Drive to 14 Street. These alerts are in addition to closures at North Miami Beach, Haulover, and Crandon beaches also reported this week. We will continue to update you as new information becomes available.
