What makes our boards stand out? Each piece is made from locally sourced & sustainably harvested western red cedar. After being milled here in Ketchikan, Alaska, I custom cut/sand/finish each piece individually. My designs, which are laser engraved, are inspired by the abundant and flourishing waters and forests which make up the Alexander Archipelago…. Thus our name AKpelago.
