The Ohio Department of Education & Workforce Development has released a Model AI Policy for Ohio Districts and Schools. This new guidance is designed to help Ohio schools thoughtfully and confidently integrate artificial intelligence into teaching, learning, and administrative practices, while also addressing ethical use, student data privacy, and expectations for AI literacy. Districts have until July 1, 2026 to adopt their own AI policy. Access the model policy online at ODEW
