COVID-19 - STAY HOME, STAY HEALTHY

Washington Governor Jay Inslee has extended the stay at home order until May 4th. Crest Airpark/Norman Grier Field is considered an essential business and is open for business.

The runway is open for all normal operations. The self-serve gas terminal is open 24/7. The office will remain open on a limited basis as well as the flight school. We ask our students to contact their individual instructors on how to best continue their training. Feel free to reach out to Rikki Birge at 253-631-7100 with any questions.

COVID-19 - STAY HOME, STAY HEALTHY

On March 23, Washington Governor Jay Inslee announced a stay at home order effective immediately that only allows workers at essential businesses or residents doing essential activities to leave their homes. Crest Airpark/Norman Grier Field is considered an essential business and is open for business.

At Crest, the safety of our employees and customers is our number one priority. Like many of you, we have been focused on addressing the increasingly complex challenges posed by Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). We have taken steps to protect the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, customers and associates. The office is doing constant deep cleaning and disinfecting.

The office will be opened for limited hours only. Please contact the office for daily hours of operation. The runway and gas terminal are open for use 24/7. We ask students to contact their individual instructors on how they can best continue their training. Since the health and well-being of everyone is our main concern, Flight School flights will be suspended until April 8th. Individuals with special circumstance will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Rikki with any questions at 253-631-7100.

A trip to the clouds may not be as much of a long shot as you thought. Covington is home to Crest Airpark (established in 1967) where you can take flying lessons, hire a pilot to take you up for a ride, watch planes take off and land from the viewing area, or have your own small aircraft restored or maintained by Normandy Aircraft. Located off Covington-Sawyer Rd, Norman Grier Field is a must see for any aviation enthusiast in your life.

Save the date for their annual Fly In event - a free BBQ on June 8th from 11am-4pm with over 20 antique planes on site for viewing. It was packed last year so plan accordingly!
